Snow Day

What did everyone do today for their unexpected Snow Day? Since it took Knox County most of the day to decide if they should close school, Scott & I spent a good part of the morning just waiting around. Finally, about noon we just went and picked up Kayla. By the time we got to her school the whole place was a madhouse with parents everywhere and kids running around with snow fever. Come on, it's nice to get a snow day every once in a while. Remember when we were kids and we would gets days off for snow all the time? It was always great to get a little treat in the form of a free day off. We picked up Kayla and drove around to see what was going on. It was great. Here are a few things we saw...
This is a barn that's down from the nursery. I've always thought it, along with the old farmhouse that sits across the street, is so peaceful and inviting looking. It was especially beautiful with the snow all around. I would have taken a picture of the farmhouse, but the lady of the house was sitting on the porch and I didn't want her to know, I'm sorry...THINK I was stalking her h
ome.

Then we drove around some more...

Here's a picture of the nursery as we drove by...
Hope everyone enjoyed the Snow Day. It's back to work tomorrow!
